A part time position is now available at our busy equine hospital. We are looking for someone to complement our current team in providing high quality equine veterinary nursing care. The desired applicant must have a strong desire to work with horses, should be detail oriented, and be able to work independently. The applicant should also be punctual, friendly, articulate and have compassion for our patients and their owners. The position would include swing shifts, on call shifts and graveyard shifts and may require weekends. The position would include, but not limited to, performing patient nursing care, laboratory work, assisting doctors with procedures and surgery, cleaning and general hospital duties. Excellent horsemanship skills are required and previous veterinary skills are preferred but not necessary. Salary is dependent on previous experience and licensing (RVT, LVT).
