Live-in caregiver needed in Leisure Village. Room and board plus a modest salary.
Searching for someone who is interested in exchanging a private bedroom, bathroom, single car garage, and salary in exchange for loving caregiving and companionship. The caregiver would not pay for utilities, groceries or rent. This person would be caring for a petite 93-year-old great-grandmother, who loves to read, rarely watches television, and has been living with a caregiver since 2021. She can walk with a walker and perform most personal tasks with limited support. We are looking for a person to make three quality meals a day, help her with her personal hygiene, daily routine, as well as care for her indoor-only cat.
We require a fully vaccinated, non-smoking, drug-free caregiver who can offer kind and compassionate support. The applicant must have the strength and proper technique to care for the client. Our live-in position requires flexibility, as the client’s needs may increase over time.
To provide the caregiver a weekly break, the client spends most Sundays (9AM to 8PM) with her children at one of their homes. She also goes on vacations without the need for a caregiver.
