Dental Assistant, Immediate opening
Established family and cosmetic dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant.
We are looking for a team member with high work ethics and enjoys working with people to provide quality patient care. Dental Assistant with at least one year experience
in all aspects of back office assisting is preferred. X-ray license is required.
New graduates are welcome to apply as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
