Job Summary:
We are in search of compassionate and committed Personal Care Assistants to deliver indispensable support and aid to individuals in their daily routines . As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll assume a crucial role in enabling clients to preserve their independence and enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include providing top-quality care directly to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition.
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments or outings, if required
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of nursing home procedures and protocols is a plus
- Ability to provide care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Must be able to pass CDSS fingerprint clearance.
- TB clearance.
-Must be registered on the home care aid registry.
