Job Description:

Caregivers:

As a caregiver at Laurel Heights, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Monitoring residents' health and well-being, including vital signs and medication reminders.

Engaging residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental stimulation and companionship.

Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks.

Providing emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.

Med Techs:

As a med tech at Laurel Heights, you will be responsible for administering medication and ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

Administering medications accurately and according to prescribed dosage and schedule.

Monitoring residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.

Documenting medication administration and maintaining accurate records.

Assisting residents with medication management and organizing medication schedules.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care for residents.

Requirements:

Caregivers:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.

Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Med Techs:

Current certification as a Medication Technician or similar credential required.

Previous experience in medication administration in a healthcare setting preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.

Knowledge of medication protocols and procedures.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
