Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Wednesdays & Fridays (am)
Our dental office is seeking a friendly, skilled Registered Dental Hygienist for Wednesdays 8am - 5pm and Fridays 8-noon. Candidate must have California RDH license and accompanying credentials (CPR, infection control, etc.).
Our office is warm and efficient and we like to focus on prevention and education. Our treatment plans tend to be more conservative, though we believe in a collaborative approach with all DHCPs to create individualized health plans for our patients.
Typical hygiene schedules include 8 patients/day, 1 patient/hour, with an hour for lunch. Candidates would be expected to perform the duties of a hygienist within that hour, including reviewing medical history/changes, taking x-rays, periodontal charting, scaling/root planing, administering oral hygiene instructions, finishing chart notes, preparing/disinfecting their operatory, and sterilizing instruments. Ideal candidates would be punctual self-starters with excellent chairside manner, able to effectively and empathetically treat a wide variety of patients.
