Transcend Counseling is seeking a licensed therapist with strong clinical skills to support individuals, couples, and families dealing with mental health challenges. This is an opportunity to be employed in a private practice setting. Clinical responsibilities include providing psychotherapy, documenting, and scheduling.
Transcend is looking for a licensed clinician who is available to work at least 15 clinical hours per week. This position provides the clinician with furnished office space, billing support, insurance credentialing, clinical consultation, marketing, and referrals. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to be part of a growing team and develop as a private practice therapist.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
California LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist with license in good standing
CAQH account with up-to-date profile
Experience working with couples, families, and individuals of different ages
A strong skill set working with diverse populations around complex issues
Willing to contract with insurance companies through Transcend Counseling
Able to commute to office located in Thousand Oaks, CA
Personal laptop and cell phone (monthly stipend included for employee use)
Able to provide (2) professional references and pass a background check
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with other health care professionals and service providers to ensure optimal client care
Clinically conceptualize and collaborate on treatment planning with clients
Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and client care standards founded on evidence-based practices
Evaluate and modify treatment program based on information gathered while working with clients
Present clients with information required to make informed mental health treatment decisions
Collaborate on discharge planning with clients
Perform other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION
Income dependent on caseload
Hourly rate, starts at $50-60 DOE
