Automotive Shipping and Receiving Needed ASAP (Camarillo)
Pedal Commander is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our Automotive team!
The responsibilities include the ability to receive, inspect and record shipments or products. You will be responsible for shipping and receiving packages and checking the contents to ensure they match the orders.
A shipping/receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to load/unload shipments, as well as the clerical skills to update records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develop deep awareness of our products to address user inquiries that include, but are not limited to, product compatibility, benefits/features, installation requirements, and basic application troubleshooting
-Prepares shipments for orders; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
-Inspects returns for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
-Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Excellent communication skills
-Computer Skills/ Company will Train on necessary Platforms/Software
Preferred Qualifications:
-Familiar with computers, basic math skills, good organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, and work under pressure.
-Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Automotive knowledge is a plus.
