The Civil Grade Checker is responsible for conducting standard construction grade checking procedures for pads, slopes, curb, curb & gutter, utilities, etc Candidates should know how to read and set up grade stakes for heavy equipment. Must have solid technical skills and knowledge of civil construction. Accuracy in your work will be critical. This is a full-time position with great benefits such as vacation time, sick pay, holiday pay, health benefits, and a 401K contribution.
The base pay is 25.00 an hour to $40.00 an hour (depending on experience).

Desired Qualifications:
Three years of experience in civil construction and/or site development work as a Civil Grade Checker.
A self-starter and team player!
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and safety and quality standards.
Ability to effectively utilize industry software and trade-related tools for grade work.
Candidate with operating skills is a plus.
