Key Responsibilities:
Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks as directed
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and ensuring a safe working environment
Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding, temporary structures, and work platforms
Operate basic tools and equipment, such as hammers, drills, and grinders, to complete various tasks
Assist with the alignment and assembly of pipes, fittings, and mechanical systems
Help maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas at all times
Perform routine inspections on tools and equipment, reporting any damage or defects
Participate in safety meetings and strictly adhere to safety protocols and offshore regulations
Follow all directives from site supervisors and construction foremen to ensure timely project completion.
Engage in general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and efficient working environment on the platform.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in construction, preferably in an industrial or offshore setting
- Experience with basic tools and equipment handling is required
- Strong work ethic, good communication skills, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including extended periods offshore.
- Working in challenging offshore conditions, exposed to variable weather, heavy machinery, and physically demanding tasks
- The work environment requires a strong focus on safety and the ability to work as part of a team in fast-paced construction projects.
