Position is responsible for packaging and preparing products for shipment. Position requires ability to operate equipment effectively and safely including table saw, chop saw, nail/staple guns, hammer and other related tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Fabricates wooden crates using powered tools such as chop saws, nail guns and staple guns
- Confirms all products on the order are included in crates
- Secures/crates items consistent with shipping method (LTL & Flatbed)
- Applies techniques to minimize lumber usage while ensuring product is not damaged in route to destination
- Requests additional lumber from purchasing when needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ Year(s) previous experience in construction or crating
- Shipping or warehouse experience a plus
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to be on feet throughout shift
- Capable of lifting up to 50 LBS
- MUST work well with others in team environment
- High School diploma
