The Electronic Test Technician will perform the set-up, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and assemblies.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
$25.00-$33.00/hour
Responsibilities:
Hypot/Megger testing and troubleshooting.
Performs hand set-ups for AC and DC digital and analog tests.
Set-up burn-in for complete units and transformer testing.
Set-up/Program ESS Testing.
Preliminary and final test of complete assemblies and recording data on test results.
Analysis of failure and independent judgment is required to determine appropriate course of action during troubleshooting.
Operates analog and digital oscilloscopes and meters, power supplies, special AC test fixtures and similar test equipment.
Follow instructions and review work activities with supervisors.
Complete job function in a timely manner with high quality.
Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Test Manager.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing electronics testing environment
Experience working with hand tools, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, generators, and soldering equipment
Able to read and comprehend diagrams and procedures in English
