Hours: approximately 6-8 hrs per day for 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall care and maintenance of the estate’s exterior grounds and landscaped areas. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and general property upkeep. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, beautiful, and well-functioning outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant and Garden Care: Perform routine pruning, deadheading, watering, fertilizing, and disease control to ensure the health and visual appeal of all trees, shrubs, flowers, and hedges. Utilize Dropbox to track and report health of failing plants .
Hardscape and Outdoor Maintenance: Clean and maintain driveways, walkways, patios, and outdoor furniture to ensure all outdoor areas remain safe, tidy, and presentable.
Pool and Spa Support: Provide light maintenance or coordinate with professional pool service providers to ensure pool and spa areas are clean, functional, and guest-ready.
Storm Preparation and Cleanup: Secure outdoor furniture and equipment in advance of weather events; perform prompt cleanup and inspection following storms.
Irrigation System Monitoring: Inspect, adjust, and repair drip, sprinkler, and smart irrigation systems to maintain optimal performance and water efficiency.
Grounds Inspections and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections of gates, fences, lighting, and pathways; perform minor repairs or report issues to property manager.
Exterior Home Maintenance: Carry out routine cleaning of the home’s exterior, including windows, doors, walls, and lighting fixtures, ensuring the property maintains a pristine appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and maintenance experience
- Proficiency in irrigation systems
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and gardening techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Handyman experience with a focus on estate maintenance
