We are seeking a dependable Horse Caretaker to assist with daily care of horses on a private ranch in California.
Duties include:
Feeding and watering horses according to schedule
Cleaning stalls, corrals, and turnout areas
Grooming, blanketing, and basic handling
Monitoring horse health and reporting concerns
Assisting with turnout, exercise, or groundwork (experience preferred)
General ranch and barn upkeep related to horse care
Requirements:
Previous horse handling or barn experience required
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather
Reliable transportation to and from the ranch
Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Schedule:
Compensation based on experience
Full-time or part-time positions available
Location: Moorpark, California
