About the Role: As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and enriching environment for our furry campers. Your love for dogs and commitment to their well-being will shine in this hands-on position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily care and feeding of dogs, including administering medication.
Professional interaction with customers during check-in and check-out.
Monitoring dogs' behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the Kennel Manager.
Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, dog runs, and common areas to ensure hygiene.
Bathing and grooming dogs as needed.
Walking and exercising dogs according to their individual needs.
Engaging with dogs to provide socialization and mental stimulation.
Requirements:
Love for dogs and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs+, and perform physical tasks like crawling, bending, and stooping.
Stamina to be on your feet for long periods.
Previous experience with animals is preferred.
Comfort and confidence in handling both large and small dog breeds.
Availability to work weekends and holidays, as these are peak times.
