Harry's Auto Collision Group is looking for an experienced production manager. Duties will include allocating labor, updating daily and weekly production schedules, coordinating repairs with body and paint technician as well as quality checking all jobs. Must have experience in automotive industry. Knowledge of CCC1 is preferred
Essential Functions:
· Communicate status of vehicle progress clearly to the General manager.
· Operation of company vehicles and industrial machinery in support of providing completed company products.
· Assist in special projects as required and assist other body technicians and co-workers as requested.
Responsible for maintaining productivity levels to achieve a positive cycle time
Ensure all vehicles are disassembled for repair and report additional damage to the general manager and estimators.
Maintain all repair order information in the CCC1 management system to reflect vehicle status.
Conduct regular meetings with production employees to review daily/monthly goals and repair order status during daily release meetings.
Ensure work areas (bays, paint, details, parts, etc.) are kept clean and orderly and all employees follow safety/OSHA/EPA guidelines.
Inspects all vehicle repairs for quality control prior to customer delivery.
Attend and provide production status updates during daily release meetings.
Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner that does not expose yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk of injury.
Required Skills:
· Must have previous auto body shop work experience
· Able to adapt to change at any given time, Quick learner, Able to work with minimal supervision after training
· Be dependable and punctual at all times
· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Strong attention to detail
· Demonstrate ability to take initiative
· Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
· Proactive in addressing the needs of management based on task
· Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record
· Must be able to read and write English
