Description:
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Youth Basketball Referees! If you have a passion for basketball and enjoy working with young athletes, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Previous experience as a basketball referee is a plus, but not required. Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the game are essential.
Responsibilities:
Officiate youth basketball games in a fair and unbiased manner.
Ensure players follow the rules and maintain good sportsmanship.
Manage the game clock, scoring, and penalties as needed.
Provide clear and concise instructions to players and coaches.
Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make fair decisions.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
A passion for basketball and helping young athletes develop.
Experience as a basketball referee is a plus, but not required.
Pay:
Up to $25 per hour depending on experience.
Must be available Saturdays.
