Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Modlin Slinsky, P.A., a fast paced law firm that specializes in creditor’s rights with offices in Thousand Oaks, California, and Sunrise, Florida, is seeking paralegal and legal assistants with at least 2+ years of professional legal experience.
Preferred candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to manage a heavy case load
Draft basic pleadings, and knowledge of legal processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills
Detail Oriented
Duties include but are not limited to:
Drafting all California litigation documents.
Following up with Process Servers.
Electronic Filings
Review and monitor Court Dockets.
Monitor and audit accounts to ensure that Office Goals are met.
Perform multiple clerical duties on a daily basis.
