Summary
CAD Drafter uses computer aided designs (CAD) mechanical software to create technical drawings according to Riviera Bronze customer specifications.
Essential Functions
Generates detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD mechanical software based on rough sketches, verbal instructions, or design specifications in 2D/3D
Works closely with Sr. CAD Manager to ensure designs align with project requirements
Revises and updates drawings based on feedback, changes in design, or project requirements
Maintains organized archives of drawings and related documents
Ensures that all drawings are accurate and complete
Competencies
Technical Capacity – Proficient use of AutoCAD mechanical software and Microsoft Office.
Problem Solving/Analysis – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve CAD challenges effectively.
Collaboration Skills – Demonstrates teamwork and flexibility in assisting other departments and supporting company-wide goals.
Professionalism – Maintains a high level of professionalism when interacting with fellow employees.
Education – Certificate in AutoCAD (preferred)
Experience – 2 to 4 years of experience in AutoCAD
