AN ESTABLISHED HIGH-END RECORDING MICROPHONE AND AS9100 REV D AEROSPACE MANUFACTURER IS SEEKING A TALENTED AND EXPERIENCED CNC MANUFACTURING ASSISTANT AND ESTIMATOR TO THE CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a minimum of three years' experience in directly estimating in a job shop or machine shop. Also, experience with CNC/Milling and Turning machines is a high priority for this role as they will be assisting the CEO in handling daily operations.
Minimum of 3 years of scheduling and planning in a highly regulated industry, preferably aerospace or a closely related company structure as well as prototypes, high diversity/high value of parts.
Must be a highly organized person who can monitor numerous estimates at once and who can prioritize workloads.
Substantial practical knowledge and understanding of parts inspection and excellent blueprint reading and GD&T A MUST.
Must possess team-building skills and must be capable of assessing and developing individual team capabilities by maintaining enthusiasm for new and challenging goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuous improvement evidenced by measures with time reduction and cost reduction.
Supervise and direct work activity in a machine shop by distributing workload strategically to the machine shop manager.
Constantly identify and eliminate waste by implementing lean Kaizen procedures to identify cost and time savings.
Contain quality issues by enforcing established quality standards focusing on continuous improvement of manufacturing to reduce rework and scrap.
Communicate with customers to reinforce and maintain effective relationships by implementing and coordinating corrective action activities.
