CNC Setup/Operator
We are a high-end CNC manufacturer in Simi Valley seeking a talented and experienced CNC Machinist Setup/Operator. Knowledge of programming is a major plus. Fast paced shop with plenty of work. Must be able to setup and possess your own tools. A good attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
Operate and set up HAAS CNC 3 and 4-axis mills with the use of cutting-edge CNC milling/turning machine center.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications and written instructions.
- Ability to proficiently use precision measuring instruments.
- Must be reliable, motivated and a self-starter. Must be able to perform complex setups without assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in set-up and operation of HAAS CNC mills. Able to interpret complex drawings and specifications. Proficient in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing as it pertains to CNC manufacturing. Ability to use precision measuring instruments during in-process part validation. Must be reliable, motivated, a self-starter, and able to work well collaboratively within the company. Able and willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
