Inside Sales & Marketing Representative

Summary

The Inside Sales & Marketing Representative supports the sales and marketing departments by generating sales, engaging customers, and promoting the company’s brand. This role combines inside sales functions with marketing responsibilities — including social media posting, literature creation, and coordination with outside marketing vendors — to help drive awareness and revenue growth.

Essential Functions

Sales Responsibilities

Identifies and qualifies potential customers through various channels including referrals, online leads, and targeted prospect lists.

Contacts leads and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and present product solutions.

Develops and maintains strong client relationships to foster long-term trust and loyalty.

Manages customer data in CRM systems, tracks sales activity, and forecasts the sales pipeline.

Sends out and corresponds with vendors regarding specialty glass, automation systems, and related sales items.

Coordinates 'lunch and learn' sessions and other internal sales events.

Marketing Responsibilities

Assists with the development and execution of marketing campaigns to support company sales initiatives.

Creates and updates marketing materials and sales literature, ensuring consistency with company branding.

Posts regularly on company social media accounts to engage audiences and promote products, events, and company culture.

Coordinates with external marketing vendors and agencies for advertising, SEO, photography, and promotional activities.

Conducts market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive opportunities.

Ensures all marketing materials and online content align with the company’s brand voice and messaging.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

3–5 years of sales or marketing experience (preferred).

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to dust. Noise levels are generally low to moderate.

Physical Demands

This job requires frequent movement and occasional lifting of boxes. Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform general walking and computer work. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
