We are a precision Mold/Machine shop in Oxnard and we've been in business for over 40 years. We are looking for a shop helper/aid. You would assist our experienced conventional and CNC machinist in daily tasks such as, but not limited to:
-cutting material
-organizing and handling material stock
-polishing
-shop upkeep
-deliveries/pickups/simple errands (all expenses paid)
This is an entry level position. Experience in a machine shop environment is plus, but not required. You will have a lot of opportunity to learn the machining trade and apply those skills. We will train and invest in someone who is willing to move up and increase their value within our company.
All applicants should have/should be:
-basic mechanical understanding/ability .
-organized
-punctual
-ability to lift 50lbs
-eager to learn machining skills
-don't mind getting your hands dirty
-valid CA drivers license and your own transportation
This is a full time position with occasional overtime possibilities. We also offer 2 weeks paid vacation.
