North American Fire Hose (NAFH), a world leader in the manufacture of lay-flat fire hoses, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who is willing to relocate to oversee the personnel responsible for keeping the equipment running in our three (3) facilities located in Santa Maria, CA. As the premier provider of American-made fire hoses, this position will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained to allow for production of the highest quality products in the most efficient manner possible. As NAFH has been running much of its production equipment 24 hours a day, 5-6 days per week for the past 30 years, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement practices must be maximized in order to reduce any unscheduled downtime. This will be a very hands-on position as the Maintenance Supervisor is expected to work alongside his team so they can direct and prioritize them toward completion of maintenance and repairs.
Education, Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Experience of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Preventative maintenance scheduling and performing
Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written communication
Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
Must keep detailed notes/revisions of projects
Ability to collaborate with many other teams
Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace
Strong problem-solving skills
