Title: Metal Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Oxnard, CA
As our Metal Fabrication Supervisor, you’ll spearhead all metals and outfitting activities, planning and guiding projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with project and department managers to develop and execute project plans, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations for quality and completion. Whether it’s managing complex welding or outfitting requirements, repairs, or refitting parts, you’ll be the driving force behind on-time, on-budget project success.
What You’ll Do:
Lead all activities within the metals department, adhering to established procedures and approved processes.
Drive continuous improvement by utilizing lean techniques and researching new methods to reduce production time while maintaining quality standards.
Actively participate in team training, performance reviews, and evaluations to support team development.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to meet project timelines and deliver products on time and within budget.
Oversee and enforce safety and environmental policies and procedures within the department.
Coordinate closely with other manufacturing departments, including purchasing and millwork, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Ensure completed work meets established quality standards and address any adjustments as necessary.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Associate degree in Welding preferred; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years in metal fabrication, including constructing and repairing metal structures.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to industrial welding operations.
In-depth understanding of workplace safety standards and OSHA regulations related to welding and metal fabrication.
Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues efficiently.
Ability to communicate effectively across departments to coordinate project requirements and timelines.
Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:
Salary range between $50,000 - $65,000 may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the firm’s performance.
Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
