Insurance Agent, P&C licensed in California, needed for servicing agent position in a small, busy, growing Ojai office with a friendly, casual atmosphere. Qualified candidates will have a background as a commercial insurance agent (at least 3 – 5 years, more would be valued) and must have a good understanding of commercial insurance coverages and procedures and must be able to review and interpret commercial insurance policies. A management/lead agent position would be possible for the right person.
Strong skills with computer programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Adobe and Outlook are necessary as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are seeking an individual with excellent character and dependability, problem solving ability, intelligence, and initiative. Compensation will depend on experience, training and performance. Tasks will focus on renewals, new submissions, certificates, coverage review and customer service.
