Dispatcher

Ventura based restoration company seeking a Dispatcher to join our team! This position is primarily responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency service calls, prioritizing them on the basis of severity, maintaining awareness of vehicle and team locations / availability, and directing teams in an efficient and prioritized manner, per our guidelines and Operating Procedures.

The Dispatcher is a non-exempt position and is expected to act as ambassadors of the company brand and culture when interacting with customers, co-workers, and supervisory/management staff. Responsibilities Include:

- Answering calls and convert inquiries into booked service appointments.

- Prioritize an emergency service schedule.

- Dispatch technicians.

- Monitor daily driving routes and schedules for optimal efficiency/high level of productivity.

- Manage your assigned jobs from start to finish.

- Resolve any customer service concerns.

- Monitor the performance of Field Technicians and take corrective action.

- Xactimate estimating, sketching and record keeping.

- Coordinating additional sub-contracting work, when necessary.

- Audit job paperwork completed by Field Technicians to ensure completion and accuracy.

- Final billing and collecting payments.

Requirements Include:

- Knowledge in the Emergency Restoration Industry is preferred, but not mandatory.

- Self-starter and quick thinker who has an interest in improving work efficiencies.

- The ability to think clearly and rationally.

- Must be able to prioritize and problem solve.

- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

- Positive and energetic.

- Works well with a team as well as independently.

- Must be dependable, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Basic computer and Microsoft office experience.

MUST HAVE GOOD KARMA

This position is full time. Our office hours are 8AM - 5PM.

Due to the emergency services we provide, this position will be required to answer emergency calls over the weekend and after hours, on rotation.

Compensation includes a base salary, plus commission after training. Your salary will be determined based on your experience level and skill sets.
