Scope: Reports to the Product Data Manager.
Summary: Performs Product Data Management and Configuration Control as well and R&D office support duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Updates Engineering Database with information from Engineering Change Orders
(ECO) and New Drawing Release (NDR) forms.
Enters Changes to P/N Descriptions, Drawing Numbers and Revision Letters in the ERP, Engineering Vault and Engineering database and PDM logs
Maintains the PDM Logs for Drawing Numbers, Tool Numbers, and X Sketch Numbers
Files the Engineering documents (NDR, ECO, RC, and Check Prints)
Performs typing of various R&D/Engineering Documents
Update the SP Labor Log based on the weekly reports submitted by R&D/ Engineering personnel
Request and maintain an adequate level of frequently needed office supplies for R&D/Engineering Department
Orders and Issues Corporate Office supplies with the assistance of the Product Data Administrator
Assist the Product Data Administrator in preparing the SP Release Package or New Item
Load Sheet (NILS) for new Production Items
Interacts with the Product Data Administrator and ERP Data Administrator
Interacts with Production Engineering staff in product data maintenance
Responsible for, and given the organizational freedom to document and report quality deficiencies, following approved channels to recommend needed changes for continuous improvement
Seeking professional growth through continued education
Responds to requests from other departments in a courteous and professional manner
Qualifications Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum High School diploma with one to two years’ office support experience. Some college preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Good computer skills with strong emphasis in Word and Excel as well as other Microsoft Programs.
Some experience with MRP/ERP system(s)
Above average math skills with the ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
