We’re a high-end finish carpentry company known for premium craftsmanship on luxury projects. We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Estimator / Project Engineer to prepare bids and proposals for upcoming work.
Role Overview:
You’ll perform digital take-offs from architectural plans, input data into Excel, and create detailed proposals. You’ll coordinate with vendors for pricing and work with project managers to ensure accurate estimates. This role also handles RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare bids, change orders, and proposals
- Perform accurate take-offs from plans
- Communicate with vendors and manage quotes
- Collaborate with project managers for proposal accuracy
- Maintain organized project documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in finish carpentry or construction (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (5+ years experience)
- Familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good at problem-solving
