Job Title: Part-Time Personal Assistant – Organization, Errands & Family Support

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (in-person role)

Hours: 15–20 hours per week

Schedule: Weekdays, generally mornings/afternoons (some flexibility)

Start Date: As soon as available

About the Role

I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented personal assistant to help manage day-to-day life tasks. This role is a mix of home-office organization, light financial/admin work, and local errands, with occasional help related to school logistics for my kids.

This is not a corporate office job – it’s a hands-on, practical support role for a busy parent who juggles kids, paperwork, and real-life logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Admin Organization

Organize bank statements, bills, receipts, and documents

Enter and reconcile numbers in basic Excel or Google Sheets

Help track expenses, categorize transactions, and flag discrepancies

Maintain simple, organized digital and physical filing systems

Household & Personal Support

Run local errands (e.g., post office, returns, basic shopping)

Help keep paperwork, mail, and home-office areas de-cluttered and organized

Occasionally coordinate appointments, reminders, or simple scheduling tasks

Family & Kid-Related Logistics

On occasion, assist with school drop-offs/pickups or driving to local activities

Be a calm, responsible adult presence around kids (elementary to teen)

Requirements

Must have:

Reliable car, valid driver’s license, and insurance

Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and documents

Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas, sorting, filtering)

High level of integrity and discretion with financial and family information

Professional, respectful communication style

Punctual, dependable, and responsive via text/phone

Nice to have (but not required):

Prior experience as a personal assistant, admin, bookkeeper, or office manager

Familiarity with PDF → Excel tools or basic tech troubleshooting

Experience around kids and families

Local to Thousand Oaks / Westlake / Agoura area

Schedule & Pay

Hours: 15–20 hours per week to start, with potential to adjust based on fit and need

Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
