Key Responsibilities:
-Review, verify, and process mortgage loan applications from submission to closing.
-Ability to do loan scenarios and pricing.
-Gather and prepare required loan documentation, including credit reports, income verification, and property appraisals.
-Communicate with clients, loan officers, underwriters, and other parties to ensure all necessary information is received and verified.
-Track and manage the progress of loan files, ensuring all conditions and stipulations are met in a timely manner.
-Coordinate loan closings and provide support throughout the closing process.
-Stay current with industry regulations and company policies to ensure loan compliance.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or in a similar role.
-Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and processing requirements.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
-High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing loan applications and documents.
-Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, loan officers, and third-party
vendors.
-Proficiency in mortgage processing software and tools (e.g., Encompass, Calyx).
-Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
-Understanding of mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements.
