Sespe Creek Collective is seeking a full-time delivery Driver/Budtender Shift Closer and a part-time weekend driver at our Ojai, California location.
Reporting to the Lead Driver and the Floor Manager, delivery drivers are an important customer-facing position critical to the success of Sespe Creek. Communication is essential, as is remaining informed on policies, products, and priorities. Drivers are responsible for routing and double-checking the contents of daily delivery orders and contacting customers to confirm delivery times. Safe driving is a must; you will be entrusted with a GPS-tracked company car for making deliveries. Delivery drivers always operate with the highest discretion and professionalism. Our Driver/Budtenders are also responsible for helping patients with product selections, checking them out, cash handling, and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various people.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
All responsibilities of the driver position
Working compassionately with a diverse customer base
Assessing routes for orders to plan the day for maximum efficiency
Discreet deliveries
Verifying and documenting customer documents and identification
Polite and consistent communication with customers
Verifying fees and delivery contents, accurately processing transactions via cash and electronic payments
Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system in person and for placing phone orders
Correct cash handling and discount application
Keep up to date on deals, discounts, announcements, and messages
Assisting with order fulfillment
Promoting a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
Maintaining vehicle logs, maintenance, and coordinating appropriate scheduling of all needed services on all Sespe vehicles as assigned by
the Lead Driver
Other duties as assigned by the Lead Driver and Management Team
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Desire to learn about our products and emerging cannabis therapies
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Truly knowledgeable about our products and cannabis therapies
High competency in Office Suite, Google Apps, Cellphones and ability to learn new software
Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations,
local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
Required
Must be 21 years or older
Background check required; no felony convictions
Clean driving record
Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation
Cannabis knowledge must be exceptional
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location assignments
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service or retail experience is helpful. Prior dispensary/collective experience a plus.
