A laundromat in Midtown Ventura is hiring a store attendant.
Job Duties:
Clean all machines and surfaces in the store and clean outside around the building
Assist customers with questions and concerns
Make all customers feel welcome
Occasional handling of difficult customers/situations
Other duties as needed (such as filling vending machine(s), reporting machine issues, etc.)
You are the face of the business, so be consistently helpful and friendly with customers
Able to drive between two laundromats (about 1.5 miles) to attend both stores
Expectations:
On-time arrival, ready to immediately go to work
Cleaning and assisting customers the entire shift
Helpful, problem-solving attitude
Detail oriented with an eye toward cleanliness
Have relevant work experience (cleaning and/or customer service)
Be trustworthy with cash
Speak English and Spanish
Be legal to work in the USA
Understand that this is a W-2 job and taxes will be withheld (no cash payments)
Able to coordinate fill-in help with other employees if you are sick or unable to work a shift
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Night shift closes the store
Able to drive to Port Hueneme for training for the first week of employment
Multiple shifts available at 2 different laundromats, including weekends. Please state your availability when contacting.
