We are seeking reliable and professional on-call security guards to provide coverage at as needed. This position is ideal for candidates with flexible availability who can respond to short-notice requests to fill in during scheduled absences, special events, or emergencies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior
Respond to incidents, emergencies, or alarms in a calm and professional manner
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports as required
Work closely with city staff and law enforcement as needed
Enforce city policies and site-specific security protocols
Requirements:
Valid BSIS Guard Card (California)
Strong observational and communication skills
Professional demeanor and ability to interact respectfully with the public and city staff
Reliable transportation and the ability to report to work on short notice
Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
