Systems Consultant

Department: Sales

Position: Full-Time

SUMMARY

The sales representative must be a multi-talented and highly energetic person who can provide sourcing and solutions for our client's alarm needs. The Sales representative needs to work with and expand the existing customer base. The sales rep must be comfortable interacting with large and small corps daily and residential buyers and they must possess extensive knowledge of the following products:

- Burglar Alarms

- Fire Alarms

- CCTV Cameras

- Access Control

- Intercom Systems

The sales rep must have excellent closing and referral-generating skills, be effective in selling value over price, work well independently, and be willing to be held accountable for their goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Works with prospects to set and then meet their expectations.

 Acts as an advocate for the prospective requirements within the organization.

 Develop detailed business plans to maintain/improve sales.

 Using appropriate style, prepare concise and persuasive proposals and follow up correspondence.

 Demonstrates enthusiasm/flexibility/compassion when dealing with the pace of change.

 Works quickly/consistently/hard with a clear end result in mind.

 Demonstrates confidence in front of the prospect/customer.

 Self-manages frustration and stress/keeps a positive attitude and a sense of humor under challenging circumstances.

 Obtain competitive market information.

 Manage the entire sales process from prospect development, prospect analysis and qualification, needs assessment, solutions/proposal delivery, and in-person presentations.

 Accomplish monthly and annual sales goals as set by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Outstanding written and oral communication; detail-oriented.

Proficient technology skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Knowledge of Alarm Programming and Panel Equipment.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must be a team player with a “Can Do” attitude.

Accurate Data Entry.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

All candidates must have verifiable work experience.

You must possess a valid driver's license, and a safe driving record is necessary.

Must have a current Alarm Agent Card.

Subject to background check and drug testing.

Flexibility to work weekends or be on-call if the current project necessitates.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

TRAVEL:

Local daily travel between accounts.
