Responsibilities
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues
Manage and maintain computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and peripheral devices
Troubleshoot software problems including applications like Microsoft Office and specialized enterprise software such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira
Configure and support computer networking components such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and switches
Assist with desktop support tasks including OS installation, updates, and hardware upgrades
Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components to ensure system reliability
Document incidents and resolutions using help desk tools like ServiceNow or Jira
Support remote access solutions and ensure secure connections for remote users
Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system performance and security
Skills
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
Experience with computer management tools and software troubleshooting techniques
Familiarity with network configurations such as LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and switches
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools
Ability to provide excellent customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently
Knowledge of IT support ticketing systems like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow
Experience with help desk operations using Jira or similar platforms
Understanding of computer hardware components and maintenance procedures
Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
