Production Assistants Needed for Elementary School Plays
-Position: Production Assistant
-Location: OPAC Theater, Oxnard
-Dates: June 10th-15th, 2024
-Pay: $35 per hour
Schedule
-Stage Rehearsals June 10, 11, 12, and 14 from 1 PM to 6 PM
-Live Theatre Performance June 15th, from 11 AM to 7 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist the director and production team with daily tasks.
- Set up and organize rehearsal spaces.
- Manage and organize props and set pieces.
- Assist with costume fittings and adjustments.
- Provide technical support for lighting and sound setups.
- Coordinate backstage activities during rehearsals and performances.
- Ensure the smooth operation of scene changes and actor entrances.
- Handle general administrative tasks, including communication and errands.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on set.
Requirements:
- Must be great with kids.
- Adaptable to constant change.
- Previous experience in theater production is a plus.
