Hiring a forklift mechanic/field technician.
This a full time position in Ventura. We Service customers in the Ventura County area.
As a forklift mechanic/technician, you will use your technical knowledge and expertise to diagnose and repair various types of forklifts. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the forklifts.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined and has a passion for fixing things.
You must have a drivers license with a clean driving record and be willing and ready to learn and grow your knowledge.
Pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical forklift systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake adjustments.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
- Test and verify repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance work.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for operating machinery.
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for maintenance.
- Drive company vehicle to customer’s locations.
