We have an outstanding career opportunity to work with a boutique property management group with a large commercial and residential portfolio in Downtown Ventura.
Primary responsibilities:
Perform skilled work in the pruning, care, and maintenance of trees and grounds maintenance including chemical application duties
Perform heavy manual labor in the care and maintenance of trees and in performing grounds maintenance
Install, repair, and program irrigation systems and controllers
Perform graffiti removal
Familiarity with various plant species and proper care
General landscape maintenance
Example Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess:
15+ years experience in gardening or landscape maintenance
Be fully tooled and have the ability to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Knowledge of proper landscape, irrigation, and tree maintenance
The ability to lift, carry and push tools, equipment, and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
The ability to work in tight and confined spaces including precarious places, on elevated platforms, and in inclement weather conditions
Pride in their personal work product; demonstrate initiative
Effective verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
