Under the direction of the Journeyman Plumber, The Apprentice Plumber works closely with jobsite employees ensuring maximum efficiency resulting in on time job completions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Layout
· Copper, Cast Iron, PVC Installation
· Hanger Fabrication and Installation
· Gas Piping Installation (Steel, PE and Trac)
· Fixtures Installation (Toilets, Faucets, Water Heaters, etc.)
· Maintain safety protocols related to job-site location where work is being performed.
· Confirm materials and/or equipment have been ordered to ensure timely completion at job-site
· Securing company vehicle and all supplies, materials and equipment from theft or exposure
· Communicates with job‐site requests for materials, equipment and/or assistance to maintain accuracy of job file.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Reads and follows simple to complicated instructions, on a daily basis
· Reads and understands reference books and complicated procedures and manuals.
· Ability to comprehend and learn under Journeyman Plumber
· Pays attention to details and observe safety precautions.
· Participates in Safety Training and has knowledge of job safety hazards and precautions
OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES:
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Conforms to applicable company policies.
· May be required to work overtime
· Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
· Must have C Class Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
· Must pass pre‐employment drug screen, criminal background and MVR check.
· High School Diploma or GED
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Work is performed at customer job-site
· May be subject to bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling and lifting such as retrieving and replacing materials, supplies and inventory.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
