Flooring & Equipment Installer – Functional Fitness Products (Ventura, CA)
About the Role:
Functional Fitness Products is seeking an experienced Flooring Installer who’s ready to expand their skill set and join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for installing gym flooring systems including rolled rubber, turf, LVT Tiles, and sport court tiles — and will receive cross-training in fitness equipment installation for commercial gyms, schools, apartment complexes, and training facilities.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, pays attention to detail, and can represent our company professionally at job sites. This is a hands-on role with room to grow into a crew lead position as we expand.
Location: Ventura, CA
Travel: Throughout California, with occasional out-of-state projects

Responsibilities:
Install various types of gym flooring: rolled rubber, interlocking tiles, turf, and sport courts.
Use tools, adhesives, and leveling techniques to ensure a clean, precise installation.
Assist with delivery, setup, and assembly of commercial fitness equipment (racks, cardio, and strength machines).
Work closely with project managers and other installers to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Drive the company truck to job sites and represent Functional Fitness Products in the field.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of flooring installation experience (rubber, turf, or related surfaces).
Familiar with flooring tools, adhesives, cutting techniques, and layout planning.
Physically able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly and handle heavy materials/equipment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to our Ventura office.
Willing to travel; occasional overnight stays required.
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
