Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Class A CDL license
2-year degree or Technical Certification in related background
Knowledge of compliance with DOT regulations
ASE (Automotive Service Certification) certified preferred
CDL Air Brake certified preferred
Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Volvo Certified preferred
Knowledge of refrigeration equipment is preferred
Required Minimum Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 year's experience in servicing of automotive equipment
Must have a Valid Driver's License and the ability to meet all driving qualifications
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, 75 pounds occasionally.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written as well as excellent mathematical skills required
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and mandatory ergonomics medical exam required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without future employment sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
Checks fluid levels on all types of Trucks
Changes and rotates tires, adds air and checks inflation of tires
Changes oil and filters
Performs general mechanical repairs to vehicles including trouble shooting mechanical problems and identifying their solution in an effort to correct malfunctions and reduce further breakdowns.
Follows PM schedules on all equipment.
Parks and delivers trucks
Keeps records of gauge readings and amounts of supplies used
Follows preventive maintenance servicing schedule
Reports any questionable damage or mechanical problems
Performs other duties as assigned
Completes repair of vehicles in accordance with DOT and State laws.
Knowledge of refrigeration maintenance and diagnostics
Temperature calibration of refrigeration equipment.
Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on all vehicles.
Maintains shop area by keeping tools and equipment picked up; cleaning up liquid spills; sweeping floor; dumping trash, and performing other related duties
