Among Friends ADHC, the first and largest Adult Day Health Care in Ventura County is seeking safe, personable and energetic drivers to transport seniors and disabled adults locally to and from our health care center (conveniently located in downtown Oxnard) and their residence. We provide the buses, but you should have a clean background check/driving record and driver’s license. Drivers will generally work Monday thru Friday, day shifts (No evenings and no weekends) and with consecutive hour schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Transport clients to and from the program and their place of residence.
Adhere to traffic and highway safety rules and emergency procedures.
Maintain transportation logs
Assist with loading and unloading passengers on vehicles.
Interact with passengers in a professional manner
Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicles and notify manager of any issues
Requirements:
Valid Class A or B driver license and Passenger Endorsement.
Clean and valid DMV report must be submitted with application.
Bilingual a plus.
Experience in working with varying medical conditions such as psychiatric, mental disorders, physical impairments, and frail elderly populations a plus.
Good communication, people, and organizational skills.
