Job title: Delivery/Pickup Driver

Job Summary:
Our Drivers are responsible for all duties related to shipping and the transportation of finished product to our valued customers as well as picking up materials. He or she will coordinate pick up and deliveries according to the schedule that the shipping supervisor has put together for the day. He or she will also be responsible for other warehouse duties as assigned by the shipping supervisor.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Prior to loading the truck - driver will do a preventative maintenance check of the vehicle and report any damage or maintenance issues to the supervisor
Check in with Shipping Supervisor for delivery/pickup schedule
Verify delivery/pickup paperwork against packing slip and labels on shipment
Locate loads in the staging area and insure they are wrapped properly per the customer’s request and ready for loading
Clean staging area after shipment have been loaded into trucks
Upon return from deliveries/pickups, you will pull the deliveries for the next day and prep them in the staging area
Other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements for this position
Must be 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean DMV driving record
Pallet Jack experience a must
Forklift experience is a plus but not required
Able to lift a minimum of 35lbs
Positive and courteous attitude and excellent communication skills
