Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Victorville, California. This role is instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This job involves working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. The role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Completing regular reconciliations of accounts and bank statements. Assisting with preparation and maintenance of financial reports. Efficiently handling data entry tasks and managing detailed spreadsheets. Regularly updating journal entries, as well as reconciling entries and sub-ledgers. Utilizing QuickBooks Desktop for various accounting tasks and reporting. Conducting regular interactions with third-party vendors. Assisting in enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. Ensuring the adherence to standard accounting principles. Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
