Hours: Part - Time & Full-Time (Mon-Fri 8a-5p)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
School-Based Services:Provide brief intervention therapy and assess whether additional therapeutic intervention is indicatedWhen indicated, provide counseling / therapy sessions to students at contracted schoolsCoordinate long-term therapy as neededInterface with school staff and family of students while maintaining patient confidentiality according to current standardsIntegrated Behavioral Health Services:Respond immediately to medical provider requests for a behavioral health intervention in the patient exam roomsProvide therapeutic interventions when behavioral health issues arise during a medical clinic visitDevelop diagnosis and treatment plans that are integrated with the medical treatment planProvide brief interventions for mild-to-moderate mental health conditionsAbility to use behavioral health interventions as part of an integrated response to a patient’s medical and mental health needsCoordinate long-term therapy for patients with chronic/severe mental illnessGeneral Duties Applicable to All Settings:Complete all required clinical and billing documentationAttend clinic and other staff meetings as requestedProvide information for reports to funding sourcesRepresent the agency to other agencies or groups as assignedSupervise graduate students/interns as assignedMay perform Utilization Review responsibilities
