We are currently seeking applications for a Restaurant General Manager in the Baja Fresh and Planet Smoothie combination unit on Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA. The successful candidate should be able to manage a restaurant in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and assume primary responsibility for the achievement of designated customer, profit, sales, and employee targets.
Position Functions
-Act as a role model, providing leadership and coaching on an ongoing basis to the team and management in restaurants
-Hiring and on-boarding of employees
-Assume overall responsibility for the correct implementation of the Employee, Customer and Visitor Safety according to company policy, procedures and standards. Ensure all employees are provided with the appropriate training and resources to perform their duties safely
-Full P&L responsibility
-Manage the restaurant in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures including directing the activities of employees in maximizing and achieve customer, people, sales, operating efficiency and profit objectives and targets.
-Ensure that controls and procedures are implemented to protect the security of employees and company funds and assets
-Coordinate the effective recruitment and selection of team members using company systems.
-Forecast and schedule management and team member labor, semi variables and cost of Food and Packaging within budget.
-Ensure tasks are only undertaken by those employees certified to perform them.
-Implement restaurant training programs for team members and management to enable them to meet the standards required, maximize performance and realize their career potential. Monitor performance and implement corrective action where required.
-Proactively identify and develop talent as part of the bench planning strategy for the restaurant and brand.
-Manage all other day to day functions of the restaurant
-Handle and solve any customer issues
-Other duties as required ongoing and from time to time
