The nursery laborer ls responsible for the Care and maintenance of trees in the nursery.Responsibilities:Ensures plastic containers are filled with soil by hand or by machine Sort trees by variety, height, size and any other category assignedStakes and ties trees utilizing a tie rnachine to hold tree in placeMixes and applies:appropriate fertilizer and pesticide to treesRemoves unwanted plants, sprouts and weedsTags trees after trees have buddedPrune the top of the treesAssembles orders of trees for delivery/saleWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PMSkills:General LaborAbility to pay attention to detail, understand and effectively follow oral instruction, work for prolonged periods of time, work under close supervision, Ability to meet work standards, perform tasks in a timely manner, safely use hand tools to perform nursery tasks, Ability to work in enclosed GreenhouseEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:Entry LevelQualifications:Experience:Entry LevelMay be required to work up to 10 or more hours a day and work weekends Must be able to Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and coldApply to job postings, Call the office to get on the work list.Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
