Good day! We have a Fortune 1000 corporation in Visalia currently seeking dedicated line workers for temp-to-permanent positions. They are best known as a leading global provider of paper-based packaging solutions for a wide variety of products for food, beverage, foodservice and other consumer products companies. With the rising demand in paper products we are looking for someone who can package and monitor product quality also while following standard safety guidelines.Responsibilities:Duties include but are not limited to: Pack product in plastic sleeves and then into boxes for shipment per production schedule and specification sheet. Packers will perform quality inspections for defects, maintain housekeeping and keep area organized and ready for incoming shift.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:Must have the ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment. Will be standing for prolonged hours with repetitive movement, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. All employees must follow company safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:Entry LevelQualifications:We have 3 shifts available; 1st shift hours are 8:00am-4:00pm, 2nd shift hours are 4:00pm-12:00am, 3rd shift hours are 12:00am-8:00am.Ideal candidate should be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
