We are a private, on call contractor in the business of supplying mobile showers, mobile laundry services, mobile sleeper units, mobile command trailers, potable water and grey water truck services to firefighters at wild fire base camps. We work in the Western United States and are based in Visalia, CA. Our busy season is typically June - November.
Current job openings include: cleaning and maintaining mobile shower facilities, laundering firefighter clothing in large scale mobile laundry facilities, cleaning and maintaining mobile restroom trailers, and cleaning and maintaining mobile command trailers. Employees must be physically capable of doing the job working 12 hour shifts and tolerating heat. Our employees work anywhere from 100 to 200 days per season, and we do require that you be away from home for weeks at a time. Travel arrangements to and from job sites can be arranged by us, although if you have means of transportation this is a plus (mileage reimbursement provided).
Candidates who possess a Class A Drivers License are a plus! CDL drivers will be given top priority for the above positions and additional positions include driving potable water trucks, waste water vacuum truck and transporting equipment to and from job sites.
This job requires you to live/camp at job site for the duration of each incident either in a tent or a mobile sleeper trailer when sleepers are available at the site. Food and showers are available at each job site.
General Labor positions start at $275 per day (minimum daily guarantee)
Commercial Driver Class A positions start at $400 per day (minimum daily guarantee)
